(More customer reviews)This item was great for my Fall Wedding - not the usual cake serving set and we will have no regrets using it after the wedding. They look very nice. I bought the Server and the Knife together - neither were in perfect condition (a few dings - glue that shouldn't be there...) but I'm not going to return it. I'd say if you are pickier, find a really good seller. The Items were great - the condition not so great.

For a fraction of the $150-$200 that we easily could have spent, we received a beautiful cake knife and server for our wedding. Although I am sure the $200 set would have been stunning, I honestly can not believe that it would have been up to seven times better. You will not be disappointed with this purchase.

Not plastic-y at all, like another reviewer said. The description says that the two birds can be separated to make a centerpiece, one bird has a strangely long neck, meaning the single bird look would not look good.
