(More customer reviews)When the product arrived, there was a large scratch across one of the handles. The scratch was not from the shipping process, it appeared to have been shipped with the scratch. The return process was easy. The next set arrived, and they were just as beautiful as the first set minus any scratches. I am not able to give reviews on the products function, my wedding is two months away. Great price, great product!

Satin Finish Flutes and Server Set Review

(More customer reviews)this is the most beautiful set i have seen and i spent a lot of hours looking!! i was impressed with the customer service, as just a few days after i placed my order, someone called me to ask me about the custom engraving I wanted on the flutes and the cake knife. the set is for my daughters wedding. the satin finish is pretty, but its been in the box for about a month now, as the wedding is still a few months away, and the finish is a bit oxidized looking. i am not worried, i think that a soft cloth and some elbow grease will shine them up without a problem. the engraving is nice, though on the flute it is a little difficult to differentiate some of the letters due to the specific script used. it will probably be easier to read when there is something in the flute. as far as being a keepsake that my daughter and her husband will have for years to come, i think they will be pleased with these.

The best part is that this is also a practical set. I know I will be able to use them in the future at parties when serving cake. (More customer reviews)this seems like a fresh take on a cake set. liked the looks of the style. when i got them i was a bit not impressed with the quality of them. the wood doesn't feel that nice and it's not lined up perfectly. they looked a bit cheap. also didn't love the brushed metal effect. it you like rustic style they'll do, but you might not want to give them as a gift.

They can be put in a dishwasher, but who would want to mar or chance wscratching the finish. Do not worry.. Buy these for a beautiful table.

When it arrived, though, I was disappointed to see that the handles are plastic, not metal like they appear in the photo. I don't know how durable they would be, and was worried that the metal blade would end up breaking apart from the plastic eventually. I also felt like the plastic handles made them feel cheap. If you're looking for cute, functional, and a good deal, it's perfect, but it's not a good option for a keepsake set, in my opinion.
The seller got them to me on time, and it was easy to return.

I bought these for my daughter and fiance's wedding and will probably get another set for them to use so the blades don't fall out while they're serving the cake.

My attention was first drawn to the fact that it is displayed in a great looking keepsake box. But, when it was shipped I quickly learned when I took it out of the box....there was NO display box at all! It was just in really cheap cardboard...that is not even in the shape of a box!!! Not impressed...I would have bought a different server set had I known that it DID NOT come with the box.

(More customer reviews)First and foremost, this item came packaged terribly- in a flimsy box where only the handles were held down by a piece of plastic and the metal blade and cake cutting part were flopping back and forth. The handles came scuffed and you can't hide the fact that it's just cheap plastic. It's a no-brainer that I plan on returning them. Do yourself the favor and don't bother!

Thank GOD I ordered it early because when I saw the set, the silver is spotted with dark spots and it looks like it was already used even though the packaging makes me think that it has to be brand new. I'm torn about returning it so I'm going to try to clean the silverware and hope I can get it clean enough to look nice and shiny in my pictures....
