(More customer reviews)this is not the pretty elegant picture the picture leads you to believe - it is not the china looking porcelain with the beautiful silver/platnium looking trim but rather a piece of white everyday porcelain quality with a very thing silver paint line - it is workable and it is a good price bu the picture is quite misleading - if you are looking for something for a more formal table such as a high tea this piece, I am afraid, will disappoint you.

(More customer reviews)My daughter and I received this in the mail today, and it is absolutely beautiful! We haven't used it yet, but plan to in a couple of days for a tea party for ourselves. The purple in ours is not a bright purple, nor real prominent, our purple flowers were light with darker pink flowers. It is very pretty, (or astounding my daughter just said). We strongly recommend this if you are a tea party lover. We also received it quickly, even with the weather delay. I would also order from this company again (through Amazon).
