Create a towering confectionery masterpiece using this 30-piece cake divider set from Wilton. As many as 6 tiers can be assembled using the sparkling clear twist legs coupled with white separator plates that range in diameter from 6 to 16 inches. To put together, place the cake layers on the separator plates, then build by simply driving the legs through the cake to connect with the plate below. There's no need for dowel rods or plastic pegs. The result is a very stable, and very impressive, tower of cake. All pieces are made of durable plastic. Each of the cake divider set's legs measure 71/2 inches high; the separator plates are 6, 8, 10, 12, 14, and 16 inches in diameter.

(More customer reviews)I bought this not for cupcakes, but as a way to display apples/oranges and make them just as fun to pick up (well, almost) as cupcakes. It does work, it's certainly sturdy enough, but you need to get apples that are a bit on the small side, unfortunately. works GREAT for satsumas, and will probably work nicely for plums in the summer. I would have liked this to be a little larger, but it does work.
