Kaiser Bakeware Noblesse 10-Inch Nonstick Springform Pan Review

Kaiser Bakeware Noblesse 10-Inch Nonstick Springform Pan

A good pan; great for cheesecakes, or any other kind of cakes (doesn't work for Jello salad, though!). It comes in 2 parts; the base, and the wall part. The buckle on the wall part is VERY sturdy, and the wall is reversible, so it's jusat as easy to use whether you're right-handed or left-handed. But I inadvertently scratched the base (it's easy to do!), and it seems there's no way to just buy another base without buying the whole unit. So if you buy one, be CAREFUL not to scratch the base; don't get a metal knife anywhere near it! Maybe they should include a non-stick plastic knife; it would be a nice touch!

I'd wanted a springform pan for some time but all I could find were the expensive professional ones. When I saw this one the price was just right. When I recieved the pan I almost immediately made a cheesecake in it. I discovered that it heated the product evenly and didn't burn. I would recommend this to anyone wanting to expand their baking skills without expensive equipment.

Wilton Performance Pans Hexagon Pan Set Review

Wilton Performance Pans Hexagon Pan Set
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
I'm listing the sizes and volumes of the pans since they are uncommon (not rectangle or round) and I noticed that nobody (not even the seller) says what size they are. I'll spare the "area of a hexagon" math here since its somewhat complicated (Google it if you'd like to double check my work). I don't own these yet, but hope to go ahead and get them soon. (I like hexagons / honeycomb shape, and just for fun it would be great for honey based cakes/breads.)
Note: My sizes are based on assuming the listed diameter of the pans is across the long points. For simplicity, my comparison of what square and round sized pans are used is rounded to common measurements of nearest 1/4 inch length/width/square (or nearest 1/8 inch high), and my milliliter measurements are rounded to the nearest 5.
The 15" is 146.25 square inches (12" square / 13.5 or 13.75" round)
* 1 quart (at 3/8 inch high)
* 945 ml (at 1 cm high).
The 12" is 93.50 square inches (9.5 - 9.75" square / 11" round)
* 22 fluid ounce (at 3/8 inch high)
* 1 quart (at 1/4 inch high)
* 605 ml (at 1 cm high)
The 9" is 52.50 square inches (7.25" square / 8" round)
* 12 fluid ounces (at 3/8 inch high)
* 340 ml (at 1 cm high)
The 6" is 23.50 square inches (4.75 or 5" square / 5.5" round)
* 8 fluid ounces (at 1/4 inch high)
* 150 ml (at 1 cm high)

Wilton Performance Pans Pillow Pan Set Review

Well, I love the look of these pans and I knew I had to have them. When I made them however, I realized the amount of batter needed is waaayyy less than they state on the instructions. So the best thing to do is fill them 2/3 full. Take a measuring cup of water and measure how much you need to make it 2/3 full and then write that number in sharpie marker on the bottom of your pan. I also found that I needed to bake the small one 10 minutes longer and the medium 20 minutes longer. Disappointing. BUT, it looks very cool when finished so worth having for sure!

Wilton Performance Cake Pans Round Pan Set Review

Wilton Performance Cake Pans Round Pan Set

For some reason I expected these cake pans to be heavier, but they are aluminum and very lightweight. They scratch relatively easily. The cakes baked up well and the variety of sizes was very helpful. Shipping was fast. I didn't use the special baking coil in the center of the 10", but it didn't matter, it baked up just fine. I didn't try out the 12" yet. It was very helpful to have the number of cups needed for each pan plainly described on the packaging.

Wilton Aluminum Performance Pans 4 Piece Petal Pan Set Review

Wilton Aluminum Performance Pans 4 Piece Petal Pan Set
Average Reviews:

I have just used these pans to bake a wedding cake and it turned out beautifully!! Everyone at the wedding couldn't stop complimenting on the design of the cake. These pans work wonderfully because they are made of a thicker construction than other pans. This prevents them from burning the cake easily. Also, they are made of a very good quality aluminum which prevents them from rusting or chipping. Who wants a cake with chips of paint in it??? The cake baked in these pans was easy to decorate and stacked beautifully. So, for a different look in a wedding cake I would definitely recommend this cake pan set!!

These cake pans are way better than the Wilton pans. I have used both and the thicker walls and more heavy duty pans means your cakes will be less likely to dome up. Used with magicake strips and your cakes are nearly flat. This set is a great deal for the 5 sizes you get.

Wilton 6-Cavity Mini Heart Pan Review

Wilton 6-Cavity Mini Heart Pan
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
Wilton makes quality products which are used by professional and home bakers. Kids love using this 6-Cavity Aluminum Mini Heart Muffin Pan. They can choose different colored sprinkles to decorate the tops of the heart cakes. Since these pans are not nonstick, I find it best to grease them with vegetable shortening and then dust them with flour. Then I fill each cavity with spoonfuls of batter until the cavity is two-thirds full. You may have to watch the baking time when you use this pan for the first time because these small cakes tend to cook quickly--faster than the time recommended for cupcakes.
One cake mix recipe makes 24 heart-shaped small cakes, so I would recommend buying two pans to save time.

Kaiser Bakeware Noblesse 9-Inch Non-stick Springform Pan Review

Kaiser Bakeware Noblesse 9-Inch Non-stick Springform Pan
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
This pan is the best cheesecake pan I've used. My cheesecakes bake evenly and NEVER leak (I bought it to replace one that cost the same amount but leaked all over my oven). Highly recommend. I've never had anything burn on the bottom, so if you have that problem, have your oven calibrated, or make sure you put the pan in the center of the oven - not too close to the heating element. My cheesecakes come out perfectly every time. I will never buy another brand!
To keep the nonstick coating from coming off, don't cut the cheesecake while it's on the base (or let the cheesecake warm up enough that you can use a non-sharp knife), and don't use a scouring sponge on it. If you spray Pam on the base before making the crust, it will easily come off so you can put it on a serving plate. I used a flat, flexible frosting spatula and slide it under the cheesecake to release it, then gently push it onto a plate. Wash the pan right away before anything gets stuck to it, and you won't need more than a regular sponge. Don't let the springform part soak - the metal bracket can rust.
With proper care this pan should last for a long time.
