Made with Armetale metal, the product will not rust, tarnish, crack, chip, or dent.Armetale serveware is food safe and can be used serving cake or hot and cold tapas. This design is a reproduction and adaptation of an 1821 candlestick base designed by Mr Karl Friedrich Schinkel of the Prussian Empire. Tag Whiteware Porcelain Ceramic Pedestal Cake Plate, Round, 11-1/2-Inch diameter, White Review

(More customer reviews)This cake stand is just a plain flat plate that has been glued to a separate base. There is yellowed residual glue oozing from where the base attaches to the platter. There is also residual glue that made its way to the TOP of the stand, i.e., the part you actually put pastries on, as well as scuffs on the top of the plate. While the picture online makes the surface look very smooth and even, almost like milk-glass, in reality the lines from the ceramic mold are very visible through the white paint glaze, which makes it look cheap. There are three things that I do like about this cake stand. (1) It has a clean, fairly modern silhouette. (2) The white is a very bright white, not an antique white. (3) It is a little taller than most cake stands. If I had seen this in a brick-and-mortar store, I would have paid eight to ten dollars for it. But for the level of quality, I believe that I overpaid, and wish I had chosen a different cake stand for my money.

Cake Stand Black Review

(More customer reviews)I ordered this cake stand because it was axactly what I was looking for and (per the picture) thought it came with the cover. I was so disappointed when I received it. The stand came without the cover, and it was a light plastic material. Definitely not worth paying over $50 dollars for. I returned it immediately; next time I will read the product description closer! (Although I looked for tis one and couldn't find it). If I am going to pay over fifty dollars for a cake stand it should at least be made out of glass or come with a cover!

Set of Three White Iron and Glass Cake Stands Review

(More customer reviews)I bought these cake stands to use at my wedding to unify multiple pastries since I don't like "wedding cake" it worked beautifully. I put cheesecake on one, a raspberry mousse on the second, and the strawberry chiffon cake on the third. We cut the Strawberry Chiffon Cake. The pictures were beautiful. I am very happy with my choice to be less traditional and go with our personality as a couple. My husband and I are definitely foodies!

BlissHome Nigella Lawson's Living Kitchen Cake Stand Review
